Tajuana has had long, healthy hair ever since she can remember. She first relaxed her hair when she was a junior in high school. The relaxer was a Wave Nouveau, and it destroyed all her hard work almost immediately. That first relaxer resulted in massive hair loss--so much so that Tajuana couldn't even pull her hair back into a ponytail!

The fact that Tajuana started with healthy hair helped her get back on the path to re-growth.  Her mom, time and an investment in better products got her hair back on the track to re-growth, but it took 4 years.


Tajuana follows the simple regimen below to maintain healthy hip-length hair:

● Relax hair 3-4 times per year (every 3 months at most)
● Trim hair when relaxing

Wash every 2-3 weeks
● Use a dandruff shampoo and
conditioner like Melaleuca
● Avoid dry scalp between washes with Melaleuca eczema lotion
● Comb out wet hair with a leave-in conditioner like Grace
Herbal conditioning spray (leave in detangler / conditioner) and Grace Silky shine spray
● Braid wet hair and flat-iron when fully dry
● Use a multi-vitamin to insure strength and shine inside and out
